The Netravathi Peak Trek is a scenic and moderately challenging trek located in the Western Ghats of Karnataka, India. Named after the Netravathi River, which originates in this region, the trek offers a rich blend of lush greenery, shola forests, rolling grasslands, and panoramic views

Netravati Peak is a 1520-metre-high peak is sandwiched between Belthangady Taluk of Dakshina Kannada and Chikmagalur District of Karnataka. It is a part of the Western Ghat range which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its biodiversity. While it is close to some other famous peaks such as the Kudremukh, this trek remains comparatively lesser-known. A less known trekking trail in Chikmagalur.

Note : Netravati trek permits are issued based on the availability from the forest department. If we do not get permits, Native Team have all rights to cancel the event or postpone or refund.

Important Info:

Permissions: The trek requires prior permission from the Forest Department, as it falls within a protected national park.

Entry Point: Samse village is the common base, accessible from Kalasa town.
Accommodation: Homestays are available in and around Samse. Camping is not allowed inside the national park.
Guides: Hiring a local guide is mandatory as per forest rules.
