The trail passes through parts of the Brahmagiri forest range, making it a refreshing escape for trekking and monsoon lovers.

The trek is especially popular during the monsoon and post-monsoon seasons when the entire landscape turns lush green with floating clouds and cool weather. Day 0

PickupPickup Points & Timings

  • 7:30 PM – Karachi Bakery, Indiranagar
  • 7:45 PM – Domlur Skywalk, Domlur
  • 9:00 PM – Yeshwantpur Metro Station (towards Tumkur side)
  • 9:15 PM – People Tree Hospitals, Goraguntepalya

Day 1

  • Arrive at the homestay early morning, 6.30 AM, and freshen up
  • Enjoy a delicious breakfast
  • Proceed to the forest check post for entry formalities
  • Start the trek to the mighty Nishani Motte Peak
  • Trek through lush green forests and scenic trails
  • Carry a packed lunch and enjoy it on the way
  • Reach the peak and take in panoramic views of the Western Ghats
  • Descend back to the base point at 6 PM.
  • Return to the homestay
  • Enjoy a tasty dinner at the stay
  • Campfire in the night (if weather permits)

Day 2

  • Start your day early and enjoy a refreshing breakfast

  • Explore the beautiful Talakaveri Temple in the Tibetan settlement of Coorg (Namdroling Monastery)

  • After sightseeing, begin the return journey to Bangalore

  • Have a self-sponsored lunch and dinner on the way

  • Reach Bangalore around 10:00 PM
